Potentia+ WiTT Program

We are thrilled to announce that this year, Potentia360 has partnered with Women in Technology of Tennessee (WiTT) to offer an exciting four-day summer program designed to inspire and empower high school girls to pursue careers in STEM and related fields.

The program allows students to explore various college and career options, gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and engage with professionals and industry leaders in a supportive and empowering environment.

As part of the Potentia+ WiTT program, students will visit the Nissan plant and experience the industry firsthand. Click on this link for more information about this exceptional experiential learning opportunity.

By participating in the program, students may discover new interests and passions, better understand the skills and jobs of the future, and be inspired to make informed decisions about their college choices and career paths.

What to Expect

Interactive Workshops and Presentations: You will learn from experienced industry professionals who will provide valuable insights into innovation and technology. You will engage in workshops and presentations that will equip you with knowledge of the latest trends in technology.

Hands-on Experience with Emerging Tech: You will get hands-on experience with emerging technologies like Virtual & Augmented Realities, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. This experience will spark your imagination and help you discover the limitless possibilities of technology.

Introduction to Coding: You will learn the basics of coding with Python, giving you the foundational knowledge to enroll in the AI Enrichment program. This program will allow you to create real-world projects using your newly acquired coding skills.

Thought-Provoking Conversations: You will engage in thought-provoking conversations encouraging you to reflect on your experiences and perspectives. These conversations will explore the impact of technology on society and the ethical considerations related to it.

Innovation Challenges: You will work in groups to ideate tech-based solutions for real-world problems.

Full-Day Visit to Nissan Plant: You will visit the Nissan plant, where you will have an immersive plant tour, a career-oriented panel, and interactive workshops learning about industry trends and future opportunities.

Career Exploration: Students connect with industry leaders to learn about their career paths, gain inspiration, and receive guidance on career development.

Additional Offerings: You will learn about other offerings from our mission partners, including scholarships, internships, and shadowing opportunities.
